Sonny’s Downward Spiral, Takes A Dive Off His Bipolar Meds?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seems to be on a downward spiral-will he take a dive off his bipolar meds? Neither Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) nor Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) are there to keep him straight.

General Hospital Spoilers – On His Own

Sonny’s pretty much on his own at his penthouse now, even though Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been staying there for her own safety, at his insistence.

While she definitely knew his late son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was bipolar and on medications, what about Sonny?

Sonny was already drunk by the time she got there the night the SEC secret came out and he spiraled, and beat the crap out of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Then Sonny put a hit on Cyrus, forcing Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to plan an injection of fentanyl into Cyrus’ IV.

Fortunately Sonny changed his mind and got there in time to stop him, not realizing Nina had made a bargain with him to drop his charges.

GH spoilers for early 2024 tease Sonny will continue to spiral, and it’s quite possible he’ll go off his bipolar meds and continue to drink. It may not be intentional, he may just be drinking so much he’ll forget to take them.

GH Spoilers: Losing Everything

Sonny hasn’t really lost everything and everyone over Nina and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) revealed betrayals, but he certainly could feel like he has.

He nearly lost his relationship with Michael over Nina and his affair with her shortly after regaining his memory and returning from Nixon Falls.

Nina’s coverup of the SEC secret could very well cause him to second-guess everything he’s done since they’ve been together, and even small amounts of stress can trigger a bipolar episode.

Dex could certainly notice something’s off with Sonny, as when he tried to talk him out of offing Cyrus, but he’s just an employee and what he can do is limited.

Probably the best he could do is reach out to Carly and tell her Sonny’s having problems coping and hope she pays him a visit, which she surely would.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Could Turn Out To Be His Savior

However, when Ava and her late daughter Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin) first came to Port Charles, they and Morgan all lived together.

Ava may remember Morgan’s symptoms and realize Sonny may also have the disorder, and something’s very wrong and take action to correct it if she can.

Ava has a child with Sonny and Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) is living with them.

If nothing else, she’ll reach out to his adult children Michael and possibly Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and tell them what’s going on with their dad.

Net zero is no longer mere policy. It has mutated into a religious cult, and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband is its High Priest. All of us are being forced to bow down at its altar, obedient to the cosmic law of decarbonisation. And as a report by the National Energy System Operator [NESO] confirmed yesterday, a huge price will be extracted to enforce our obedience. That price is likely to include swingeing financial penalties for ordinary households that dare to consume electricity at peak times. Heating your home, running a dishwasher or washing machine, watching TV or simply boiling a kettle will become far more expensive.
